Four killed in Chechnya
Four people were killed when unidentified armed persons shot a car in the Staropromyslovskii district of Chechnya's capital yesterday. These are Magomed Bikhoyev, a local police inspector from Pobedinskoe; Magomed Amorkhanov, chief of the Pobedinskoe territorial police station in the Nadterechnaia district; and Mr Bikhoyev's two daughter's, three and nine years old, who happened to be not far from the scene.
Residents of Staraia Sunzha, Grozny village district, where Magomed Bikhoyev lived with his family say that police officers are killed quite often in this district. They think that the reason for that is "sorting out" based on sharing oil facilities that are controlled by republican law enforcement agencies.
