A suspected militant killed in a special operation in Dagestan

In Dagestan, in the course of the counterterrorist operation (CTO), law enforcers killed an armed militant from the Endirei grouping, sources report today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 27, the CTO legal regime was introduced in the Buynaksk and Kumtorkala Districts of Dagestan. On the territory of the Buynaksk District, the CTO became the second operation in a month, while in the Kumtorkala District the first one in 2018.

"It was reported that law enforcers killed a militant in the CTO zone. The information is still being verified," the "Interfax" quotes its source as reporting.

The killed suspect was identified as a 26-year-old resident of the Endirei village in the Khasavyurt District. He was a member of the Endirei grouping and was wanted for a long time, the "AIF Dagestan" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies of the region.
