Social network users urge Kadyrov to respect law while punishing hero of a scandalous video

The video, which captured how a native of Chechnya had thrown a can at passengers, provoked indignation among users of social networks. They believe such behaviour should be punished, but call on Ramzan Kadyrov to act according to the law.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 10, a video appeared on the Internet, in which a man threw a metal can at metro passengers shouting "Akhmat is power!" This angered the head of Chechnya; Ramzan Kadyrov harshly characterized the hero of the video, demanding a public apology and visit to him with his parents "by the nearest air flight."

Today, Djambulat Umarov, the Chechen Minister for National Policy, External Relations, Press, and Information, has announced that the Chechen authorities and religious figures will engage the young man and his parents in explanatory conversation.

Users of social network have expressed their support for Ramzan Kadyrov, who demanded an apology.

"Everything has been done in a proper way! Such acts should be strictly punished! Only in that way, we will live in a civilized country and remain human beings ... Ramzan has done well! He is responsible for all residents of the republic," wrote Pyotr Luchshev.

Meanwhile, social network user Sergey Shakhtarin reminded the leader of Chechnya about the rule of law. "The punishment should be under the law!!!" the user wrote.

"Ramzan, will you kill him or beat him? Will we see blackmail, threats, and apologies in front of the camera? Of course, the guy [behaved badly], but you should not voice such speeches," social network user Anton Tolmachyov wrote in turn.
