In October 2017, 12 people fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
In October 2017, at least 12 people fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, eight were killed and four others were wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
In Dagestan, eight people fell victim to the conflict. Of them, seven were killed and another was wounded. As a result of an attack committed by suspected members of the armed underground, a law enforcer was killed, and his colleague was wounded. During the armed clashes, six suspected members of the armed underground were killed.
In Ingushetia, as a result of an attack committed by a suspected militant on a checkpoint near the village of Yandare, three policemen were injured and the attacker was killed.
In October 2017, in Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, the Stavropol Territory, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, and Chechnya, no victims to the armed conflict were registered.
