Azerbaijan counts 30 shelling attacks from Armenia within 24 hours

Armenian militaries have shelled positions of the Azerbaijani Army in different sections of the frontline for 30 times during the last 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 25, Azerbaijan declared shelling of a village in the Karabakh conflict zone. According to the country's MoD, on October 24-25, positions of the Azerbaijani Army were shelled for 28 times. In its turn, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh, which also regularly reports about violations of the ceasefire regime in the conflict zone, counted, for the period from October 14 to October 20, 80 shelling attacks committed from the Azerbaijani side. Besides, on October 23, Nagorno-Karabakh blamed Azerbaijan for the death of its soldier.

"During the last 24 hours, units of the Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire regime in different sections of the frontline for 30 times," the website of the MoD of Azerbaijan has reported today.

According to the MoD, the shelling was carried out also from territories near the villages that Azerbaijan considers to be its occupied territories.

As of 8:35 a.m. Moscow time today, the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh had not commented on this statement in their official websites.
