Beslan negligence case to be heard on 15 November

Opening arguments in the case of three former officers of the Pravoberezhnyi District Division of Internal Affairs in North Ossetia charged with negligence in connection with the terrorist act in Beslan have been scheduled for 15 November, Justice Vitalii Besolov of the Pravoberezhnyi Court where the case is to be heard told RIA Novosti earlier today.

"At the opening arguments, appeals of the lawyers of the defendants will be heard as they believe that some evidence proving their defendants' guilt have been obtained in an unlawful manner," he remarked.

Besides, according to the judge, the date to examine the case in essence will be appointed on 15 November. Those to go on trial are Mr Aidarov, former chief of the Pravoberezhnyi District Division of Internal Affairs, and his two former deputies.
