Azerbaijan claims 26 cases of shelling per day

Over the past day, the ceasefire regime in the conflict zone was violated 26 times, the Ministry of Defence for Azerbaijan reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 4, Azerbaijan registered 28 attacks on its positions over the day, and a day earlier, on November 3, 27 attacks. In its turn, the Ministry of Defence for Nagorno-Karabakh claimed 100 attacks on the positions of the Defence Army from the Azerbaijani side in the week from October 28 to November 3.

Starting from the morning on November 4 until the morning on November 5, the ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone was violated 26 times. The Azerbaijani positions in the villages of Agdam and Garalar in the Tovuz District and in the village of Zamanly in the Gedabek District were shelled from large-calibre machine guns, the Azerbaijani MoD reports today on its website. The fire came both from the territory of Armenia and from the positions "located near the occupied villages," the Azerbaijani MoD reported.

As at 9:00 a.m. Moscow time on today, the Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have posted no comments on their websites concerning the statement voiced by the Azerbaijani MoD.
