Two killed, two wounded in Ingushetia

Two members of illegal armed groups were destroyed in Orjonikidzevskaia, Sunzha district, Ingushetia, on Wednesday, republican law enforcement agencies told Interfax.

"Officers of law enforcement agencies blocked two members of illegal armed groups in the Meridian cafИ at about 6:00 a.m. MSK. They opened fire when an attempt to detain them was made. The two gunmen were destroyed in a skirmish with the officers," the agency's interlocutor said.

The Sunzha District Division of Internal Affairs said the killed rebels had been identified as Tamerlan Baisangurov, b. 1972, and Said-Khasan Musortov, b. 1977, both resident in Samashki, Chechnya.

Two people were wounded during the skirmish, according to preliminary information. One of them was a police officer and another was a woman who happened to be near the cafИ.
