Two abducted in Chechnya

Unidentified armed people have abducted two persons in Grozny and Chechnya's Achkhoi-Martan district.

"Abubakar Abdulkadyrov, the owner of a computer salon, was abducted by a group of armed people from his salon in Kosior St in Grozny's Leninskii district on the night of 27 October," a source with republican law enforcement agencies said. "According to the information available, the criminals drove two cars without registration number plates. After a while, they came back, robbed Abdulkadyrov's flat which is in the same building and took a computer and a music centre from the salon."

Another abduction case that also took place last night was registered in Samashki, Achkhoi-Martan district. Here, armed people in camouflage uniforms abducted a 22-year-old local resident, Khasan Nazhayev, according to one of his fellow villagers.

"About two weeks ago, military men already brought Khasan away, but he was later released," the Samashki resident told Caucasian Knot's correspondent. "Yesterday night, military men in masks again broke into his house and brought him away without indicating the destination. No one knows where he is now and what the reason for his repeated abduction was."
