Police post attacked
A group of unidentified persons committed an armed attack on checkpoint 172 situated near the bridge across the Terek River near Levoberezhnoye in the Naurskaia district of the Chechen Republic on 30 October. According to a source with Chechnya's law enforcement agencies, the shooting at the checkpoint resulted in two officers of the Sverdlovsk Regional Main Department of Internal Affairs wounded, the Russian-Chechen Friendship Society reports.
