During the week of April 15-21, 2019, no victims to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were reported. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

During the week from April 15 to April 21, there was one report about the detention of a Chechen resident for having links with militants in Karachay-Cherkessia. On April 17, border guards detained the man on suspicion of assisting terrorists after he tried to recruit his fellow countryman into the ranks of the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization banned in Russia by the court, the FSB Directorate for Karachay-Cherkessia reported. It was also reported that the Investigating Department for Chechnya of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) instituted a criminal case under the article on assisting terrorist activities.
