Lawyer Rashid Gadjily to defend the rights of students of "Independent Azerbaijan" university
Lawyer Rashid Gadjily is going to act as defence lawyer for the students of the "Independent Azerbaijan" university who are on hunger strike. This has been reported to the "Turan" news agency by Robert Aisman, representative of the American Bar Association.
He also says that the lawyers intend to send a request to the Azerbaijan Ministry of Education on the fate of the 3rd year students who are also denied diplomas.
Scores of students of the "Independent Azerbaijan" university have been on hunger strike for 15 days.
As of today, four participants in the action have been hospitalized.
Despite numerous promises and assurances of various organizations and departments, the problem of students has not been resolved, they may land on the street level.
