Seminar for human rights activists from Chechnya and Ingushetia held in Nazran

On June 3-4, 2006, a two-day seminar "Counteracting violations in North Caucasus" was held, which was organized by the regional human rights organization "Chechen Committee of National Salvation" headed by Ruslan Badalov, with the financial support of the European Commission office in the RF.

The report of the "Russian-Chechen information agency" sent to the "Caucasian Knot" editorial office runs that the seminar has been attended by twenty lawyers and human rights activists from Chechnya and Ingushetia. Vladimir Weissman, regional coordinator of the International Helsinki Federation, was invited to attend the seminar in the capacity of expert on international law.
