Opposition meeting swept in Georgia
Today, in Akhalkalaki, south of Georgia, an unknown person delivered fire on a protest action held by the oppositional party "Industry Will Save Georgia." According to "Rustavi-2" TV company, soon after the start of the action rallied in protest to the outcomes of local self-government elections, an unknown person came up to the crowd and brought down pistol fire. According to unofficial sources, several persons were wounded. According to the "Imedi" TV company, nobody was wounded.
In the morning of October 9, on the initiative of the oppositional political organization "Industry Will Save Georgia," about 100 persons gathered at the Akhalkalaki administration building. Part of them tried to rush into it.
