Cynologist never inspected school building in Beslan
The relatives of those killed and the victims who suffered during the capture of school No1 in Beslan demand that Igor Terekhov, cynologist of the Pravoberezhny district internal affairs department who had checked the school on the day of the attack, should be brought to criminal responsibility, reports "Interfax". As has been reported in the Beslan Pravoberezhny district court, on Friday, during the court hearing of the case of chiefs of the Pravoberezhny district internal affairs department, charged with negligence which facilitated the capture of the Beslan school by terrorists in September 2004, a militia cynologist was interrogated in the capacity of a new witness.
According to the testimony of cynologist Takhokhov, he conducted checks of Beslan schools, including school No 1, on September 1. While doing this, he only checked the place where the school line was to be held since, according to him, the school entrance was closed.
According to official data, as a result of seizure of school number one in Beslan on September 1, 2004, 333 people were killed, including 320 hostages 186 of whom were children. All in all, the terrorists captured 1128 hostages.
