Armenia signs Protocol 13 to the Convention on Human Rights on abolishing the death penalty

Vardan Oskanian, head of the Armenian MFA, has signed the 13th Protocol to the Convention on Human Rights abolishing the death penalty under any circumstances. This has been reported by the press and information department of the RA MIA. V. Oskanian has also met with Thomas Hammarberg, Commissar on Human Rights of the Council of Europe, reports the Novosti-Armenia news agency.
