NKR accuses Azerbaijan of 140 shelling attacks within the week

Since November 17, Azerbaijani soldiers fired more than 1300 shots at positions of the Defence Army, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) reported on November 23.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 10-16, the NKR counted 210 violations of the ceasefire by the Azerbaijani party.

"On November 17-23, the Azerbaijani party violated the ceasefire for about 140 times on the contact line of the Armed Forces of the Artsakh Republic (the NKR, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") and Azerbaijan by firing more than 1300 shots in the direction of the Armenian position," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports the statement by the MoD of the NKR. The fire was fired from small arms, says the statement.

The Azerbaijani MoD has not reacted to this statement on its website. However, according to the calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", during the week of November 17-23, Azerbaijan stated 160 attacks on its positions in the Karabakh conflict zone and on the border with Armenia. Only during the last 24 hours, there were 24 such cases, the Azerbaijani MoD reported on November 23.
