Azerbaijani serviceman killed in conflict zone

On Saturday, February 15, a serviceman of the Azerbaijani Army died from an opponent's shot on the troops contact line, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

Azerbaijan has reported 24 ceasefire violations over the past 24 hours. In its turn, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) accused Azerbaijan of 120 shelling attacks over the past week.

"On February 15, units of the Armenian Armed Forces, by grossly violating the ceasefire on the front line, made another provocation. As a result of a shot fired by the opponent, Seimur Eldar ogly Aleskerov, a military serviceman of the Azerbaijani Army, was killed," the Azerbaijani MoD wrote on its website.
