Police isolate Chechen blogger Abdurakhmanov after assassination attempt

Blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov is deprived of communication means in a hospital, his brother reports. He says that Tumso Abdurakhmanov has got minor injuries, while his attacker stays in severe condition.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 26, Tumso Abdurakhmanov was attacked by a man who entered his apartment. Tumso Abdurakhmanov managed to seize a hammer from the attacker and call the police. Prior to the assassination attempt, Tumso Abdurakhmanov received threats, his brother reported.

Nothing threatens the Tumso Abdurakhmanov's life, he has got minor head injuries and scratches, blogger's brother Muhammad Abdurakhmanov has told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
