Ramzan Kadyrov denies allegations about secret prisons in his house
The leader of Chechnya said that an allegation about secret prisons in his house was rumours spread by mentally unhealthy people. In confirmation of his statement, Ramzan Kadyrov spoke about the inspection of the house by prosecutors.
Earlier, the newspaper "Novaya Gazeta" has reported about extrajudicial executions in Chechnya. According to the "Novaya Gazeta", in January 2017, detainees were killed after an attack on policemen in Grozny; they were "strangled with a rope" in a barrack basement of the police patrol-and-post service regiment named after Akhmat Kadyrov.
According to Ramzan Kadyrov, these are rumours spread by "schizophrenics who have terrible dreams and present the fruits of their sick fantasy as reality."
"I am the most law-abiding citizen! Do not pay attention to this nonsense," said the leader of Chechnya as quoted by the "Federal News Agency".
It should be noted that Ramzan Kadyrov's assistant Akhmed Dudaev, the director of the "Grozny" TV Channel, has also claimed that Elena Milashina, a journalist of the "Novaya Gazeta", "sees secret prisons in her bad dreams."
