Since February, third Kadyrov's fellow villager gets a post in Chechen government
On May 12, Vakhid Usmaev, Secretary of the Security Council of Chechnya, was appointed the deputy chairman of the Chechen government. This is the third fellow villager of Ramzan Kadyrov, who was appointed to a high post from early February.
Vakhid Usmaev was nominated for the post of the Deputy Prime Minister by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, and Chechen MPs unanimously supported the appointment at a meeting on May 12.
For 10 years, Vakhid Usmaev was the commander of the patrol-and-post police regiment named after Akhmat Kadyrov, led the secretariat and administration of the leader of Chechnya, headed the administration of the Gudermes Municipal District, and recently served as the Secretary of the Council for Economic and Public Security of Chechnya.
According to his CV posted on the website of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Vakhit Usmaev was born in the village of Tsentaroi in the Shali District.
Tsentaroi is the native village of Ramzan Kadyrov. In July 2019, the village was renamed in honour of his father Akhmat Kadyrov.
