Sons of Dagestani MP involved in murder, sources report

A 27-year-old resident of Dagestan was shot dead on the territory of the Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) "Makhachkalavodokanal", the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) reports. The killed man was identified as Abdulbasir Omarov, a nephew of Magomedrasul Omarov, the former director of the "Dagavtodor" and the Dagestani branch of the Department for the Road Management "Kaspiy". Men suspected of the murder and complicity are sons of a member of the People's Assembly of Dagestan and the former head of the Shamil District, the newspaper "Chernovik" (Draft) reports with reference to social networks.

Investigators suggest that in the evening on June 23, a 27-year-old local resident was injured in a fight and a shooting which occurred at the gates on the territory of "Makhachkalavodokanal". The victim died in a hospital, the ICRF's Department for Dagestan reports today.

The killed man was identified as Abdulbasir Omarov, a nephew of Magomedrasul Omarov, the former director of the "Dagavtodor" and the Dagestani branch of the Department for the Road Management "Kaspiy". Sons of a member of the People's Assembly of Dagestan and the former head of the Shamil District are suspected of the murder. The police are also searching for other two sons of the MP suspected of involvement in the crime, the "Chernovik" reports with reference to the social networks.
