98.58 percent has voted for Nagorny Karabakh constitution

On December 10, Nagorny Karabakh held a referendum on its constitution, which was attended, as of the data on 7:30 p.m. of December 10, by 83.71 percent of those eligible for voting.

Right now, Sergey Nasibyan, chairman of the Central Referendum Commission, has announced the preliminary outcomes of the referendum. According to preliminary information, out of 90,077 citizens in the voters' lists a total of 78,389 have voted at the polling stations, which makes 87.02 percent of all entitled to vote.

A total of 77,279 electors have voted for the constitution, making 98.58 percent, 549 persons, or 0.7 percent, have voted against. The Council of Europe has not recognized the outcomes of the referendum.
