Ulman's case: witnesses were taught how "to get off" from the prosecutor's office

Today, the Ulman's case trial went on in Rostov-on-Don. Eight prosecution witnesses - defendants' colleagues who took part in the special operation to capture Hattab in January 2002 - were summoned to the court. Witness Vyacheslav Kochetkov, member of one of the scout groups engaged in the special operation near the Dai village together with Ulman's scout group, was interrogated in the courtroom. Kochetkov's evidences that he had given in October 2002 in the course of preliminary investigation were read aloud. Judging from these evidences, Kochetkov had heard how after the end of the special operation Ulman was telling how he had shot the car with Chechens, that one of them was wounded and "then all were finished." Kochetkov also told that he heard how Ulman "had briefed his subordinates on the topic "How "to get off" from the prosecutor's office".

The "Caucasian Knot" has informed earlier that captain Eduard Ulman, warrant officer Vladimir Voevodin, lieutenant Alexander Kalaganskiy and major Alexei Perelevskiy were accused of murdering peaceful Chechens.
