Two suspects killed by law enforcers near Galashki village, sources report

Today, while searching for militants in the Sunzha District of Ingushetia, law enforcers have killed two persons who offered armed resistance to them, sources report.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on August 17, in the forest near the village of Galashki in the Sunzha District of Ingushetia, law enforcers found a hiding with ammunition and were shelled after their discovery. According to the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot", a shootout became the sixth similar incident in Ingushetia since early 2020.

Today, the law enforcers have continued their special operation in the area of the Galashki village. A shootout occurred, during which two persons were killed, but not yet identified, reports a source from the republic's law enforcement bodies. According to the source, no law enforcers were killed or wounded, the TASS reported.

According to the preliminary information, two militants were killed, the "Interfax" reported with reference to its source, who noted that the killed suspects rendered armed resistance during their detention.
