Rescuers state night and morning shelling of Stepanakert

At night, Stepanakert came under missile fire; other dwelling settlements of Nagorno-Karabakh were relatively calm, the Emergency Service of Nagorno-Karabakh has reported. In the morning, shelling of Stepanakert resumed, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on November 8, one civilian suffered from shelling of Stepanakert. This morning, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported the shelling of dwelling settlements and positions of Azerbaijani troops, including from cannons and mortars.

Today, after midnight, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired several long-range missiles at Stepanakert. As a result of the shelling, there were no victims, but civilian infrastructure was damaged, a source from the Emergency Service of Nagorno-Karabakh has told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent today.

In other settlements of Nagorno-Karabakh, the night passed relatively calmly, the Service has noted.

At about 9:00 a.m. local time, in Stepanakert, an air raid alert was again triggered and explosions began sounding, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has reported. The population, like during the last month, continues staying in shelters.
