Week from November 29 to December 6 passed without victims of North-Caucasian conflict

During the week from November 29 to December 6, 2020, there was no information about the victims of the conflict of law enforcers with the armed underground in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the monitoring conducted by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own information and data from open sources.

This is the seventh consecutive week without reports of those killed or wounded during the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus.

Detentions

On November 30, Aslanbek Idalov and Salambek Idalov were detained in Chechnya, who, according to law enforcers, took part in the attack on Russian militaries in 1999 near the village of Chervlyonnaya. They are suspected of banditry, armed rebellion and encroachment on the life of a law enforcer. The court has ruled to place both of them in custody.

  • Compensation decrease for illegal prosecution violates rights of KBR resident

The court ruling, which awarded Madin Gubzhokov compensation of 30,000 roubles for unlawful criminal prosecution, is incomparable with the moral harm caused by the actions of Azamat Kyaov, a former law enforcer.
