Head of KBR's boxing federation reacts to Kadyrov son's victory
The victory of Adam Kadyrov in the fight with Aslan Bittirov was staged; and Bittirov's coaches were not independent when deciding to stop the fight, Nazhmudin Berbekov, the head of the boxing federation of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) has suggested.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the 13-year-old Adam Kadyrov defeated Aslan Bittirov at the tournament. Amid disputes about the victory of Ramzan Kadyrov's son, Magomed Daudov, Speaker of the Chechen Parliament, announced Adam's readiness to have another fight with Bittirov.
Social media users have noticed that the teenagers had different gloves: Kadyrov's son fought in professional boxing gloves, while Bittirov had amateur ones on.
Mr Berbekov has expressed hope for a repeated fight of Adam Kadyrov with Aslan Bittirov, the edition named "Podyom" (Rise) writes. In the opinion of the head of the KBR's boxing federation, the fight was staged.
Lucas Brown, a former world heavyweight boxing champion, told about an unexpected blow to his stomach from Ramzan Kadyrov, to which he could not respond, as in this case he risked being shot dead.
According to the "Sporting News", in 2016, Lucas Brown made a trip to Chechnya, during which he fought Ruslan Chagaev in Grozny. "A few days before my fight, Kadyrov conducted a training session and unexpectedly hit me ... I was shocked and did not know what to do. I asked my guard what would have happened if I had answered Ramzan's blow. He told me that they would have shot me dead," said the athlete.
Lucas Brown compared Kadyrov's behaviour to that of a child. "Whatever he does, people around admire him and say that they have not seen anything like it," he said.
