Armenia states destruction of Azerbaijani drone

A drone that tried to fly into the territory of Armenia was liquidated on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Armenia and Azerbaijan periodically exchange accusations of shelling. On July 23, the Armenian party announced the shelling of its positions located in the Gegarkunik Region. The Armenian MoD reported that its three servicemen were wounded and stated that is had nothing to do with the death of an Azerbaijani military.

The Armenian air defence forces have stopped the penetration of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV or drone) from Azerbaijan into the country's airspace, the Armenian MoD has reported today.
