Solidarity action with Ukraine held in Baku

In Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, activists of the "Musavat" Party have held an action in support of Ukraine.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 12, the Baku Mayoralty did not allow the Azerbaijani Democracy and Welfare Party to hold a picket in front of the Russian Embassy with a demand to stop the special operation in Ukraine. However, activists still tried to hold an unsanctioned action, which was disrupted by the police.

On April 17, about 20 members of the "Musavat" Party and activists of its women's wing held a solidarity action with Ukraine. They laid flowers at a stand with photographs of victims of the hostilities in Ukraine, Mustafa Gadjibeili, the head of the "Musavat" Party press service, has informed.

Azerbaijan stands in solidarity with Ukraine, Dunyakhanym Djakhan, a member of the Supreme Council of the "Musavat" Party, has stated.

On April 15, Azerbaijan sent another batch of humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian refugees who escaped to Moldova.
