A soldier blown up by a mine in Agdam District

An Azerbaijani soldier was blown up by a mine while performing military duties in the village of Chemenli in the Agdam District. He was hospitalized with injuries, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Azerbaijan reported.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that people are regularly killed and injured in explosions of mines in the territories that came under the control of Azerbaijan after the Karabakh war in 2020. So, on May 12, Rashad Bakhtiyarov, a resident of the Agdam District, was blown up by a mine while grazing sheep. He was taken to the hospital with injuries.

Today, Azizaga Umarov, Sergeant of the internal troops of the Azerbaijan’s MIA, has been blown up by a mine while performing military duties in the village of Chemenli in the Agdam District. Azizaga Umarov got injuries of varying severity and was hospitalized in a local hospital, the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent was informed at the press service for the MIA of Azerbaijan.
