Social network users remind Kadyrov of Kazakhs' help to deported Chechens
Ramzan Kadyrov, having reproached the President of Kazakhstan for his unwillingness to follow Russia and recognize the DPR and LPR (Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics), forgot about the help that Kazakhs rendered to Chechens after the latter's deportation in 1944, Instagram* users have indicated.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 18, Ramzan Kadyrov criticized the leaders of the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) member states, who failed to express their clear position on the military operation in Ukraine. In particular, during mass protests earlier this January, Kazakhstan received support, including from Russia, while "Russia has no benefits from the CSTO," the head of Chechnya has stated.
The above Kadyrov's statement about the CSTO members were posted on the Instagram* accounts of the "Grozny" Chechen State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company (ChGTRK) and the "Chechnya Today" Republic's News Agency. In their comments, social network users have reproached Kadyrov for criticizing Kazakhstan, recalling the Kazakhs' help to the Chechens deported there in 1944.
"It's a shame that Mr Kadyrov, making such statements, forgot that Kazakhs saved Chechens in 1944 on the verge of extinction," the user baitakov_s wrote, in particular. "Who had saved your ancestors – definitely not Russia," the user kamalov_krg has reminded Kadyrov.
"I hope that Chechen elders won't support you, Ramzan. They are probably ashamed of your video appeal," the user gkoishiev has written.
On March 21, the Tverskoi Court of Moscow banned the activities in Russia of the Meta Company, owning the Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, in connection with extremist activities.
