Head of North Ossetia confirms deaths of three soldiers in Ukraine
Head of North Ossetia Sergey Menyailo has handed over the Orders of Courage to relatives of the natives of North Ossetia who perished in Ukraine, namely, Sergeant Albert Tuloev, Senior Lieutenant Eduard Vasilenko and Junior Sergeant Nikolai Demeev, the press service of the republic's head reported on June 24.
The deaths of Tuloev, Vasilenko and Demeev were not officially reported earlier. The "Wings TV" Telegram channel had already informed about Albert Tuloev's death. According to the channel, Tuloev, a native of the village of Elkhotovo, was a deputy platoon commander and perished on March 8, said the March 20 post. On May 17, the Telegram channel reported the death of the 33-year-old Eduard Vasilenko, a native of Beslan. On April 20, the "Ossetia" Telegram channel informed about the death of Nikolai Demeev. According to the report, Demeev is also a native of Beslan, he was 33 years old too.
Thus, since the start of the special operation in Ukraine, the deaths of at least 62 natives of North Ossetia have been officially confirmed. The "Caucasian Knot" is running a list of names of natives of the North-Caucasian and Southern Federal Districts (NCFD and SFD), who perished during the special military operation in Ukraine. The list is compiled based on the data officially announced by the authorities of regions and municipalities.
