Two soldiers wounded in Nagorno-Karabakh
Contract soldiers Gurgen Danielyan and Arthur Arushanyan were injured as a result of non-compliance with the rules for handling weapons. Their condition is assessed as severe.
On August 8, two soldiers were injured as a result of non-compliance with the rules for handling weapons (a detonator), the Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Army reported on its page on Facebook*.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on July 14, a body of 19-year-old Armenian conscript soldier Arsen Manukyan was found in a combat position with a gunshot wound. Investigators detained a soldier’s colleague and requested the prosecutor’s office to institute a case on incitement to suicide.
* On March 21, the Tverskoi Court of Moscow banned the activities in Russia of the Meta Company, owning Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, in connection with extremist activities.
