Local resident kidnapped in Chechnya

According to the report by Zhabrail Abubakarov, lawyer of the Chechen Republic Bar Association, on March 30, 2006, Timirkhan Makhmadievich Shakhbulatov, born in 1966, address 82, Uritskogo Street, was kidnapped by unknown armed persons wearing black clothes at 16.00 near his house in Grozny.

As reported to the "Caucasian Knot" by the "Chechen Committee of National Salvation," the kidnappers drove a VАZ-2110 of steel colour, plate number 268. Having forced Shakhbulatov into the car, the kidnappers drove him to an undisclosed location. So far, nothing is known about the fate of the kidnapped person or about his location.
