Astrakhan citizen punished for calling for terrorism on social media
A resident of Astrakhan was found guilty of public calls for terrorist activities and fined 360,000 roubles.
According to the FSB, a man born in 1975 posted on a social media outlet a comment calling for terror. The Southern District Military Court fined the resident of Astrakhan 360,000 roubles and banned him from administering websites for 1.5 years, the “Interfax” reports.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that a resident of Volgograd was convicted for extremist statements on the Internet. The man was sentenced to a year and a half of imprisonment in a penal colony for calling for reprisals against officials.
