In Khasavyurt, protest action of opponents of mobilization ends with detentions

In Khasavyurt, the police detained some participants of a protest action against mobilization.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that today, on a square in Makhachkala, where participants of a protest action against the mobilization have gathered, a mass fight has occurred, and the police have detained some protestors. Among the detainees were Idris Yusupov, a journalist of the “Novoye Delo” (New Clause), and Sergey Einbinder, the editor-in-chief of the “RusNews”, who were covering the protest action. Sergei Einbinder reported that he was beaten and his camera was broken.

In Khasavyurt, like in Makhachkala, the people who were protesting against the mobilization were detained by force, the weekly newspaper “Chernovik” (Rough Draft) reported on its Telegram channel.

Let us remind you that on September 25, in Makhachkala, the police also violently dispersed the action of the people who were protesting against the mobilization. According to human rights defenders, 101 people were detained.

In the village of Endirei in the Khasavyurt District, at least several dozen people also took to the protest action held on September 25 in connection with the announced mobilization. The police tried to disperse the protesters by firing into the air from submachine guns.
