Kuban villager complains about torture
In Tikhoretsk, law enforcers tortured a resident of the village of Novorozhdestvenskaya to force him to confess that he was beating his stepson.
59-year-old Viktor Krasnoborodko addressed lawyers of the “Team Against Torture” and complained that he was tortured in a law enforcement institution in Tikhoretsk after his stepson had been hospitalized with injuries.
According to Viktor Krasnoborodko, he works as a security guard and when he returned home on August 28, he found his stepson lying on a bed with injuries to the head. The man called an ambulance and the police. Doctors hospitalized the stepson, and Viktor Krasnoborodko and his family were summoned to a law enforcement institution and sent home after a conversation. The stepson of Viktor Krasnoborodko stayed in a hospital in severe condition, so the police were not able to question him, the “Team Against Torture” reported on its website.
On September 5, Viktor Krasnoborodko was again summoned to the law enforcement institution where the law enforcers demanded from him to confess to the crime and threatened him. The other morning, the man was released.
On September 19, Viktor Krasnoborodko was again summoned to the law enforcement institution and subjected to torture there: the man was hung on an iron bar and also tortured with an electric shocker.
According to Viktor Krasnoborodko, he was demanded to confess to the beating of his stepson. The man felt unbearable pain and agreed to confess to the crime, after which he was removed from the iron bar.
