Law enforcer who escaped from Russia reports detention of his relatives in Dagestan
After his interview about the involvement of FSB agents in terror acts, relatives of the wife of Emran Navruzbekov, a former operative agent, and his mother's relatives were detained in Dagestan. Navruzbekov asked law enforcers not to touch his relatives.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Emran Navruzbekov, a former operative agent of the FSB (Russian Security Service), who has left Russia, in an interview with Vladimir Osechkin, the head of the "Gulagu.Net" human rights project, stated that FSB agents were involved in terror acts and staged special operations in Dagestan, where he had served for a long time. Navruzbekov asked for political asylum in Europe.
After the interview posted on the "Gulagu.net" website, law enforcers detained and brought his relatives for interrogation; and checks were launched against some of them, who are serving, the "Gulagu.net" Telegram channel has reported.
Navruzbekov said that a number of his relatives were detained in the Magaramkent District of Dagestan. He urged Dagestani law enforcers not to touch his relatives. "Do not touch my relatives, because I took this step consciously (in the video, Navruzbekov explained that he was against the military operation in Ukraine, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"). Please do not touch my relatives. They have nothing to do with it," he has stated.
Navruzbekov also announced the danger for himself and his relatives. He believes that he "can be found and liquidated."
