Former coordinator of Navalny's office in Krasnodar arrested in absentia
A court in Moscow has arrested in absentia Lev Gyammer*, a former coordinator of Alexei Navalny's office in Krasnodar, within the case of organizing activities of an extremist community.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 30, 2023, it became known that Lev Gyammer* had been put on the wanted list.
Also, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested in absentia Gleb Kondratiev*, the coordinator of the "Vesna" (Spring) movement, recognized as an extremist organization, the "Mediazona"** has informed.
According to investigators, Gyammer* posted information in social networks about the number of Russian soldiers killed in the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine, as well as appeals to military servicemen calling on them to refuse taking part in the SMO. Besides, according to investigators, he criticized the May 9 celebrations in social networks.
Let us remind you that on July 31, 2020, Gyammer* was fined for insulting Russian President Vladimir Putin. He treated his accusation as political.
The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that residents of Russian cities, including those in Southern Russia, were persecuted for attempts to lay flowers in memory of Navalny at memorials to victims of political repressions.
