Prosecutor demands long terms for Goncharenko and Abdurakhmanov for arson of military commissariat

The prosecution has asked to sentence Boris Goncharenko to 11 years and Bogdan Abdurakhmanov to 12 years in colony, accusing then within the case of setting the military commissariat (registration and enlistment office) on fire. This was reported by the human rights project "Solidarity Zone".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Abdurakhmanov is accused of committing a terror act, and Goncharenko – of aiding terrorism.

On May 28, 2024, Abdurakhmanov stated in court that he had not given the testimony that was earlier voiced out, but that it was written down by the investigator. According to the defendant, he did not care what the investigator would write, but when the charge of terror act appeared, he changed his attitude.

Let us remind you that on October 6, 2022, the building of the military commissariat located in the town of Goryachy Klyuch was set on fire. The prosecution believes that Goncharenko committed the crime together with another person. He himself stated that he prepared the flammable mixture, but did not take part in the arson of the commissariat and did not know how the other person had planned to use the mixture.
