Economic motives make the main version of murdering the head of the Armenian community of Murmansk Region

"Murder of Arthur Arutyunyan, head of the Armenian community of the Murmansk Region, is exclusively business-related," Oleg Mnatsakanyan, a member of the community board, believes, the "Echo Moskvy" radio reports.

"One hundred percent, it has no national motives," Mr. Mnatsakanyan said and drew attention to the fact that Arutyunyan was the control stock holder of the Murmansk Social Commercial Bank, and also was a well-known lawyer. "By the scale of the Murmansk Region, he could be considered a real oligarch," Mr. Mnatsakanyan said.

Since the victim was a prominent businessman, the investigators consider the economic version to be the main one, the Newsinfo reports.

We remind you that on November 16 in Murmansk, Arthur Arutyunyan, one of the major businessmen of the Kola Peninsula and head of the regional organization "Association of Armenians of the European North of Russia," was shot dead through the head.
