Azerbaijan staged a police operation to move the "Azadlyg" newspaper out of its building

In the evening of November 24, police conducted an operation in the capital of Azerbaijan aimed at moving the "Azadlyg" newspaper, Information Agency (IA) "Turan" and the Party of National Front of Azerbaijan (PNFA) out of their premises. We note here that Judge Ulvi Mailov of the First Economic Court made a decision on immediate vacating by the "Azadlyg" editorial board and other organizations of the building they occupy at 33 Hagani Street.

"They will be resettled into the premises allocated for them by the State Committee for Property of the country after court marshals will have served the official court ruling to their bosses," Yashar Aliev, deputy head of city's police, has stated. The correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" has managed to find out that the building of the "Azadlyg" newspaper has been sealed up, and all the belongings of the organizations have been brought outdoors.
