Iranian mass media continue insulting Azerbaijanis

"Azerbaijanis are no threat to Iran." These words were pronounced by Golam-Hosein Mokhseni-Ezhei, Minister of Reconnaissance and Security of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI), to the press conference in Teheran. The Minister asserted that the events in South Azerbaijan had been organized by the USA. "Fortunately, the local population of these regions has timely understood everything and did not allow foreign elements to use the situation to their advantage."

Meanwhile, Iranian mass media have again published offensive materials against ethnic Azerbaijanis. The "Echo" Radio has broadcasted with reference to the portal bakililar.az that currently the Iranian TV is spinning up a social advertising campaign with an obvious attempt to show the backwardness of Azerbaijanis and, on the contrary, the superiority of Persians.

According to the scenario of the campaign, a driver-Azerbaijani breaks the traffic rules, to what a policeman-Persian is offending the driver.

We remind you that this May the newspaper "Iran," which is the official edition of the Teheran regime, published abusing caricatures on Azerbaijanis. Only through application of force, the law enforcement bodies of the IRI managed to pacify the participants of protest actions.
