Two servicemen lost in shelling of Azerbaijani positions

In the evening on September 4 and at night on September 5, the positions of the Azerbaijani army were shelled near the villages of Dzhavakhirli and Sarydzaly of the Agdam District, of Gasangaya of the Tertersk District and unnumbered hill in the Geranboy District.

In all the cases the Azerbaijani party opened reciprocal fire, Eldar Sabiroglu, head of the press service of the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan, reported to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

He has also noted that soldier Mukhtar Osmanov who was heavily wounded yesterday died several hours later at hospital. Another soldier - Ismail Guseinov - died from the injuries caused to him by bombardment of Armenian armed forces of the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the Fizulinskiy District.

According to Mr Sabiroglu, the Armenian party has also suffered losses. Thus, during the skirmish in the Agdam direction two soldiers of the Armenian forces were killed, and one more soldier - in the direction of the Fizulinskiy District.
