Ryaguzov is suspected of disclosing Politkovskaya's residence
Pavel Ryaguzov, Lieutenant Colonel of the Moscow's FSB Department, is suspected of illegal disclosure of data about residence address of Anna Politkovskaya, an observer of the "Novaya Gazeta" newspaper.
"In September 2006, under a request of certain Buraev, Mr Ryaguzov established Anna Politkovskaya's residence and delivered the data about her address to Buraev," a source close to the investigation has informed today. This fact is presented in the "Interfax" information.
The RIA "Novosti" reports that a criminal case was initiated on September 11 under Article 285 of the Russian Criminal Code (abuse of one's official powers).
So far, the law enforcement bodies have not presented any charges to Lieutenant Colonel of the FSB Pavel Ryaguzov under this criminal case, the "Gazeta.Ru" informs.
The "Caucasian Knot" has already informed that the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation had already presented charges to Lieutenant Colonel of Moscow's FSB Pavel Ryaguzov under four Articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: "Kidnapping of a human," "Extortion," "Illegal penetration into one's home" and "Excess of official powers."
However, no charges have been presented to him so far under Politkovskaya's murder case.
On September 3, the Moscow Regional Military Court found illegal the arrest of Lieutenant Colonel of the FSB Pavel Ryaguzov. The Court cancelled the decision of the Moscow Garrison Military Court on sanctioning Ryaguzov's arrest and sent the case to new consideration.
