In Adygea, the verdict to the convict who placed execution video on the Internet is appealed against

The verdict to Victor Milkov, who was sentenced to one year of imprisonment for placing a video showing execution of citizens of Tajikistan and Dagestan on the Internet, was appealed against by his advocates at the Supreme Court of Adygea.

The YUGA.Ru reports that Milkov's advocate has filed a cassation complaint against the verdict of the city court to the Supreme Court of Adygea. Under the law, the date of consideration of the complaint shall be appointed within a month.

Meanwhile, Magomed Odamanov, a resident of Sultanyangiyurt village, Kizilyurt District, asserts that one of the executed persons looks very much like his senior brother Shamil. The newspaper "Chernovik" writes (in its No. 7 of 15.02.2008) that Magomed Odamanov has stated: "For a couple of years Shamil worked in Moscow and often wrote letters home, but suddenly letters stopped. Then I saw the video and recognized my brother at once. Same with many of our relatives. In the frames showing the execution he wears the same clothes as before his departure. Since then, there was no information about my brother. Everybody, with whom he had contacts in Moscow, says that he disappeared in April. We have lodged an application but they told us nothing since."
