Investigation knows suspected killers of Ilyas Shurpaev

Employees of the criminal search have managed to establish the murderers of Ilyas Shurpaev, a journalist of Channel One. According to the investigation, the aim of the murder was robbery.

The "Moskovskiy Komsomolets" (MK) newspaper has reported today that the TV camera installed in the doorway of the house fixed the faces of supposed killers. They came in at 8:00 p.m. on March 20, and went out of the flat at about one a.m.

According to the newspaper, it was found out that Mr Shurpaev had several meetings with his future murderers, natives of some neighbouring foreign country, in the Ilyinskiy mini-park.

The MK writes that the criminals knew that Shurpaev was raising money for purchasing an apartment, and they came to him for the money. The traces of tortures on his body may indicate that the killers demanded that Shurpaev showed them where he kept his savings but he resisted.

It has become known from his relatives that some 100,000 roubles disappeared from the flat. Friends of suspected murderers tell that after the night when Shurpaev was killed, they had a big sum of roubles in their possession.

The suspects had already been prosecuted by law enforcement bodies. Several years ago, in a forest near Moscow, they plundered a man. According to the investigation, now the murderers have already left Moscow.
