Deputies of the ruling coalition in Armenia petition for the arrested oppositionist

The Armenian MPs representing the ruling coalition have moved a petition calling to change the freedom restriction measure concerning Suren Surenyants, an arrested member of the "Republic" opposition party.

The petition was signed by deputies from the Republican Party of Armenia, "Prosperous Armenia", "Orinats Erkir" (Country of Law), and a number of independent MPs.

Eduard Sharmazanov, press secretary of the Republican Party of Armenia, has reported that the petition was moved in connection with Surenyants' poor health condition, the "Gazeta.Ru" informs.
