Swine flu patient hospitalized in Azerbaijan

A woman, citizen of this country, was hospitalized with diagnosis of infection with virus A/H1N1. On November 3, she returned to Baku from the Ivan-Frankovsk District of Ukraine, where the swine flu epidemic is at full swing.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the Ministry of Public Health of Azerbaijan that the patient's condition is satisfactory and she is rendered the necessary medical aid.

It is already the third swine flu episode in Azerbaijan. In the end of July this virus was diagnosed in two citizens of Azerbaijan who came back home from the Great Britain and France. Both of them were hospitalized and successfully cured.
